  1. i've seen places at the airport..but im not 100% sure because it all depends on the airport

  2. No, when you get to Sweden, there's a currency exchange in every airport. Exchange it there.

  3. I think at the airport you can change your money, I'm not really too sure to tell you the truth, I just saw booths when I was at the airport when I was going on my mission trip to Jamaica. But when I went to Jamaica we just exchanged our money there at the Western Union in Jamaica. But if you have travlers checks make sure you know the hotel address and stuff to put on the back of the travlers checks that's what they made me do, but it might be different where you are going idk I have only been out of the country once. I hope this helps.

  4. If you go to Sweden you do not want Euros, they are not the right money there.

You can go to your bank and ask if they can get you about $100 in Swedish money (called Kronar in English if I remember right, although the currency exchange site calls them Kronoa) but for the rest best take your bank card with you and use it in the ATM in Sweden.

If you get about 600 in the local money you get about the same as $100, give or take a bit, depending on the exchange rate of that day.

Do not try to get traveler cheques, as not many places exchange them into money anymore and they are about the most expensive way to exchange money.

You can take some dollars with you, as back-up for when your card does not work or you are too lazy to go to an ATM, but you will find that most people prefer not to accept them, due to the poor exchange rates.

The ATM will get you the local money at the best rates, if you use your bank card. Check with your bank that your card is ready for use abroad, and what it costs to use it.

If you have a credit card, bring it too, to pay the hotel bills and as back-up but do not use it in the ATM as it always costs a lot more to use. (But check with your card provider to know how much.)

  5. sweden doesn't use the euro, they still use the krona!!!

    1 Swedish krona = 0.166066 U.S. dollars

you can exchange your dollars at any u.s. bank or at the airport, either before you travel or once you arrive in sweden

sweden is a really expensive place so take loads of cash or travellers cheques with you!!

hope this helps - have a great trip!!
