  1. I don't think you should try to connect any specific weather event with global warming.  It is a statement about temperatures and climate taken over long time periods.  Things like the ongoing drought in the west, earlier onset of spring and less precipitation falling as snow may all be the result of human caused global warming.

By the way, "turingschild" got all his/her/its numbers wrong.  Human are increasing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere by about 0.3% PER YEAR! Total carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is about 0.038% by volume.  Even though this is a very small fraction of the atmosphere, it is very important to global warming because carbon dioxide is a potent greenhouse gas, while oxygen, nitrogen and argon are not.

  2. Most Microclimatic change occurs because of deforestation.

Australia's loss of rainfall can mainly be attributed to turning native bushland into farmland.

Global Warming increases the frequency of Hurricanes & Tornadoes as more moisture is evaporated from ocean surfaces.

Some parts of the world have had improvements in their microclimate.

So your supposition would be very hard to substantiate

  3. Rhetorically.

  4. You can't. Weather and climate are far preferable to the vacuum of space. And humans are not powerful enough to affect GW.. We produce about 0.0037% of the CO2 in the air. Total CO2 is closer to 3%. Do you have ANY idea what 'orders of magnitude' means?

  5. Start with graphs - make sure you distort the axis to make them look more dramatic and appear to say more than the statistics would say by themselves.

Blame all types of weather and natural disasters on global warming.  Hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, flooding, and more can all be used as examples of global warming.

Use anecdotal stories and pictures - the more dramatic and emotional the better.  If a glacier sheds some ice, it is global warming.  If a few polar bears are skinny, it is global warming.

Make sure you minimize any natural explanations to the above.  Sun cycles, climate cycles, volcanic eruptions, underwater disruptions, ocean cycles - all of these are completely immaterial and do not count for any effect on climactic cycles

Get several scientists and pay them to back up your findings and pay them only if they come up with results that back up your case.  Ignore the parts of their reports that say there could be other factors other than man-made carbon emissions.

Get some famous politicians and business people who can profit from your theory to back you up on it.

Get the media (who we all know are tremendously knowledgeable about science) to spread all of this.  It helps if you sensationalize this as much as possible.  Talk about how we are all doomed by man-made pollution.

OH WAIT - ITS ALREADY BEEN DONE.
