How can I fatten my new Pup up fast?

I just got a three month old pup and it has been severely neglected. It's skinnier than I've ever seen and it doesn't want to eat everything I feed it.

Any surefire ways to fatten her up that you know of?

i know that there are pills out there for dogs that have a problem of eating and it helps gain weight.

Well assuming he doesn't have worms. It is helpful to feed him rice it is easy on the stomach. You can try oat meal if u don't have rice. You should add protein also try egg's or a high protein dog food. Cat food usually has high protein.

Don't try to force your pup to eat.  First thing I'd recommend is that you take her to the vet for a thorough exam.  She probably has a load of worms.  The worms will steal most of the nutrition that's in her food.  Vet can give you medicine to get rid of the worms.  After that, she should put on weight rapidly.

You may try baby food or canned goats milk. If the puppy wont eat you may have to force feed it. Just gently open its mouth and put some food in, close its mouth and gently rub its throat to make it swallow. We hope this helps. God Bless
