If there is a college or university in your area, I would recommend asking if you can post a notice in the special education or psychology buildings or talk to the head of either of these departments to see if they can ask around. Often college students are interested in getting experience working with kids with autism. if you dial 411 they can give you a list of people that the state has on file as being certified to deal with autistic children.  i would also double check their credentials, because the last thing you want to do is have someone who is not trained to handle the emotional, and physical stress of dealing with autistic children.  good luck.
