I have a childhood friend that got drafted in the MLB. Not trying to stalk him but I wanna send an email to get in contact with him again. It would make the most sense to contact his agency but cannot find it. The players name is Richie Robnett. Can someone help?

  1. Contact the MLB Players Association. They'll probably know.

Or go to ESPN.com and click on his profile.

  2. According to Baseball America, he's having a tough time of things lately:

"Athletics outfielder Richie Robnett is expected to miss six to eight weeks recovering from surgery. Robnett’s agent, Joel Wolfe, termed the surgery a “minor medical procedure.” The Stockton Record reported that Robnett had surgery in San Francisco to remove a benign tumor from his stomach. The A’s declined to discuss Robnett’s injury, citing privacy standards, and Wolfe chose not to address the Stockton paper’s report. The lefty hitting and throwing Robnett, a 2004 first-round pick out of Fresno State, is on the A’s 40-man roster and had played one game (going 0-for-3) for high Class A Stockton this season. He hit .267 with 18 homers last year for Double-A Midland and showed major progress in the second half of the season."

I would suggest you email the Stockton Ports, explain the situation and ask them to forward your message to Richie (assuming it's appropriate), then wait and see what happens.
