How can I find a certain house and see its location on the web?

I used map quest but it only shows directions not the landscape

Try using Google Street View - just type street view into google and it should be the second link.

Then you can type in an address, hit the street view button, and you can view the different houses - only from the road though.

just hit maps on your menu bar, go to satellite, type in city & state, then street map, find the ad. then you can look at from above or go to stret level and get a 360 dgr.view of the house and the neighborhood.
