Umm..I just want to be clear so that no one gets confused:

I want to know if there is a place online where I can find someone who was put up for adoption.

    here is a slew of adoption resources, including tips on how to search, and online registries. Not all sources are free, but you can get the ball rolling.

    Also, you can post some details regarding what country, state, time frame.. so forth.. our only limitation is that it violates yahoo to post personal info re a living person on here.  So, just leave out the names.

    It does NOT violate to mention things like Texas now has an officially sanctioned registry.
