How can I find a free application that can identify any music playing through a mobile phone?

like the one verizon has in their VCAST...something like a musicID that can identify songs playing by holding ur mobile phone to the song for a couple of seconds and the phone identifies the name of the artist and music (maybe the lyrics bt nt necessary)...

I use shazam ID on my phone to identify music titles, artists and albums. the site says free 30day trial but i've been using it for nearly a year now and i don't get any notifications about buying the app.
