How can I find a good California-based independent sales rep to sell automotive brakes?

I am looking to hire a well-connected, Southern California-based sales representative to sell automotive brakes into retailers and wholesalers. I would rather not go to a web site to find someone - I want strong referrals. Any ideas?

Not sure what you're looking for or how much you're willing to pay:  Try an executive search firm; or, employment agencies, perhaps those who specialize in "executive sales".
