How can I find a half sister??

I recently found out that I have a half sister who is older than me. I was adopted when I was 2 and she knew of me. I have found details of my birthmother but I would prefer to try and contact my sister only. Any help would be grateful!!

what details do you have for her? I found my half brother and then came to realise that I had lots of half brothers!! I am also looking for my half sister too, and all I know is that she is younger than me. I am in the same boat as you.

Its hard. I know that my younger sister expressed an interest, then never followed it up. I guess she will come round eventually. Good luck

there is a agency called jigsaw go to them

my half sister who lives here in Australia went to them and found

two half brothers in the uk through them ,  they will contact them so  there are no unpleasant suprises for the other person involved as they may not wish to meet you . but if they do they can set it up for you

do you know her name? thats going to be the key thing in finding her... you can do a search on whitepages.com or myspace there are plenty of ways you just need a lot of info about her first... maybe the source who told you about your half sister could help you... or if you contact your birth mother for that info... good luck

If you live in the UK you could try the Salvation Army, i did and they found my sister who i had not seen since we were babies. worth a try. Good Luck in finding her.
