How can I find a housekeeper who uses clean rags, mops and sponges?

I've never used the same housekeeper twice and usually end up not using one after I try out a new one now and then because they use used cleaning supplies and that grosses me out, like they'll use a stinky mop that has dirt on it from another house they cleaned, used rags and ugh i hate it. What's the trick to finding a really top notch cleaner?

  1. I leave all my things for her to use.  And I asked her not to use hers only mine.

  2. I have another solution if this helps.  Why not buy the swiffer mop and swiffer products for your house keeper to use.  Then you can be sure she's using clean cloths each time.

I just bought one for myself because I hate using dirty dust mops etc.  I love it.  It picked up lint on my wood floors that was coming off a new rug that was driving me crazy.  No matter how much I tried, I couldn't seem to get it all.  But this swiffer got it.  My 82 year old Aunt told me to buy it.  LOL

Here's a link to their web site if you're like me and don't have any idea what it is.

  3. Yes, alot of people do that, Just have the housecleaner use your mop, sponges, scrubrrushes and rags.

  4. clean your own house.

  5. You can furnish the rags, mops and sponges yourself.  I cleaned as an independent person and I had clients who did that.  I just knocked off some of the price since I had included the supply cost in my estimate.  You can't expect a person to have a special set of cleaning tools and supplies for you exclusively but you can have this if you furnish your particular requests.  I had a customer who introduced me to the Swiffer Duster when they first came out and made sure I had one and lots of refills.  She also bought cleaners that were more organic because of her own allergies.
