  1. Well, does your job type have many openings? If there are a lot of openings, you could always look online for employment and ask for an over the phone interview. If you had a potential employer willing to give a first interview over the phone and maybe a second one in person if they are really interested. I think i would explain my situation to and potential employers.

    Good luck

  2. I have moved cross country several times and have used several different job sites to find jobs in my new area.  The best thing that you can do is get your resume posted on several job sites and start applying for jobs in your industry that they have.  Most companies will do at least the first and second interview by phone however a lot of them do require you to come in and do a face to face interview for your final one.  So since you are saving up I would save up at least a little money to make a trip to your new area for your face to face interview.  If you are planning on moving before you have a job make sure you have at LEAST 4 month of living expenses saved up.  You never know how the job market is going to be.  I have moved a few times before I had a job and did have to take some other jobs to tide me over till I found a job in my industry.  If I had not have plenty of savings I would have never made it.  Be prepared that if you move before you have a job you might have to take something like serving, customer service or working retail till you can find a job in your industry.  You are doing the right thing by starting now, if you start to get interviews you can be honest with the company that you can start in two months or whatever some companies will hold the job for you until you move. I would check out some of these sites for jobs and also check out local sites for the area in GA in which you are moving:
