How can I find a local youth volunteer environment program in Sacramento, CA?

Hi,

I'm looking for an environmental group where I can help out with anything from activism, environmental education, to agriculture, specifically for youth. I'm having trouble finding one using Google search, so I was hoping someone from here could help me out.

You have the right idea.  You just have to do it yourself.  Don't join someone else.  Grab a group of friends and clean a stretch of highway or a river.  If you tell a reporter for the local newspaper , she will take photos.  THen others will join you.  Get to work. /
