How can I find a map for local area trash pickup??

Hi. My husband volunteers at a local area recycling center and in order to help best I can, Im trying to get him more organized so he isnt blindly out looking for recyclable items. Hopefully looking to find a county map, or several local maps, detailing the day each area of town has their trash pickup. Short of going to each city site (which some dont even have an official home page) How can I find a map for my county? I live in Genesee county, MI. Ive tried going to michigan.gov, and no luck. I found one or two, but no small suburbs! Help! Thanks :)

Here in Australia we just go to the local council authority to find out the necessary information about recycle depots.  Of course it maybe different with America.

is it the city or a contractor who picks up the garbage we have a contractor it is Canadian waste but every area is different.Check out the trucks if a contractor call up there office and ask them the info you want may be best not to tell them why as they many get paid by the tonnage they pick up and may not want someone  going through  the garbage and causing them to lose money
