  1. You will need to flat share with someone and then you will be looking at areas like Dalston and Hackney, maybe even Stoke Newington.

  2. You'll have to share with someone....or live a very long way out.

  3. Have a look on Gumtree.  There's a good few there in your price range - though you'd need to be quick off the mark.

    Also Loot.

Also postcard boards in newsagents in the area you want to be.

  4. Are you havin' a laff?

If you do find something, I dread to think what it will be like. I live outside of London and you can't get anything for less than £350 - and that will be the dirtiest, mouldiest flat in the dodgiest area.

Have you considered a room as a lodger or in a shared house? It may be cheaper.

  5. no chance. i lived in camden last year for a bit, in a shared house with 10 others, my rent was £600 pcm

  6. PAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH.

    No.

  7. There is one going for around £300 a week but the queue goes all the way to Birmingham.

  8. With hyge difficulty - for that money it would have to be a house share and even then this is unlikely - sorry!

  9. try the Y.M.C.A.s

  10. is that month or week? you can get a 1 bed flat for £200 a week no problem.

  11. You can find something but you can not be in the hurry! I pay 80pounds per week all inclusive in a house to share and i have my private terrace and private entry to my room as well. I am in Turnpike lane and 25min away from my job in Leicester square. If you really want your own studio it would be more 200 than 150 and that's not including any bills. Think about zones 3-4 and not 1-2 for this price. To be honest, it is not a real problem to leave there if you are close from the tube station (max 10min walk) and by a reliable underground line (Piccadilly or Northern line are the best) when i was leaving in zone 1 (shoreditch. Liverpool street station) it was taking me 1hour sometimes to get to work down town. Gumtree.com and thelondonpaper.com are not bad to find a flat otherwise the Loot is the best but be fast and be the first one to get it when it's coming out and the first to call.
