I think you can look online. Try a search engine, putting in "World phone book" I'll paste a link for you to try as well.

try MTNL website ...they hv some interactive query wherein you can put the last name and address and it gives u the results...you shud be able to get it there

If they use MTNL you can simply call 197 and tell them you need the tel phone no. of person staying at that address.

go to the library, there is a such think as a cross phone book, you can look up the phone number and it will give you the address.. or the other way around, it can tell you the phone number if you have the address.. which ever.. but the library might be your best bet.. or the white pages on the Internet.

if this is a emergency you can dial the operator and give the person's name and address, and tell the operator it is a emergency. what the operator will do is ask you your name, phone number, and either put you on hold, [or call you back] and call that person, tell them you are calling for a emergency call, if that person wants to talk to you either the operator will connect you or the person will call you back

GOD knows why all are giving you silly advice. If you have the address of your relative & you happen to know his name then all you have to do is that call up at 197 from bombay & ask the operator the telephone number of Mr. X from dadar / or 'x' place & you get his phone number.

Why don't you get  it done by some friend in Bombay??
