  1. Try ebay.

  2. if you lived in my town you could come on over to my property and find on easy, and I would give it to you free.

kidding there is a place called:

    freecycle

its geared to situations like this and on the web in your town. just look it up on yahoo.

    good luck!

hey and dont blame the kids those thigns can happen! haha!

  3. any hardware store

  4. Home Depot or Lowe's should sell replacements.

  5. The big box stores do not sell just the lids, you'll have to buy a tank set with the lid (and possibly throw away the tank or replace the tank you no longer have the lid for). But to find a replacement, you will need to measure the outside dimensions of your tank and take that information in with you. They do NOT have a book that tells them what lids will fit on older toilets, you'll have to measure them and pick one out.

  6. Go to a home depot and ask someone. "you can do it, we can help"

  7. maybe you should consider buying a new one

  8. home depot

  9. Try Habitat for Humanity/Do it yourself thrift store or call all of the thrift stores in town. Call the junk yards too!

Also, post an ad on craigslist and look for them on freecycle.org

  10. You can get quality new and used materials at a Habitat for Humanity Restore.

Go here to find one local to you: http://www.habitat.org/

Our best find: a whole set of kitchen cabinets for $600!

2nd best find: a couple of brand new windows for $40 each!

  11. Call around to some independent plumbers. They change out toilets all the time. Be sure to know the type of toilet and have the measurements on hand when you call to save time.

  12. I've found such things at these second hand hardware/housing supply stores.

It's like a junk yard, but for houses.

I've gotten Medicine cabinets, missing oven k***s, fans for my kitchen blower, and many other things.

    It's fairly cheap too.

Just check around, I'm sure there is one near by.

Or you could just order that one part from your local hardware store.

I think MAYBE stores like Menards and Lows could have just the covers too.

They are a common thing that breaks so . . ....

  13. check some flee markets or junk sales. Unless you get lucky I think you are going to have to replace that whole bowl. Or find out the maufacturer and give them a call.
