How can I find an apartment in Paris, France?

I am a college student who will be going abroad for a year. Anybody have ANY suggestions on how I can find an AFFORDABLE studio, or apartment in Paris? Websites, numbers, anything. Ones without agency fees, etc?

Paris is probably the worst place to find "affordable" apartments. I read a news story a while back where people were actually renting one room apartments with 60 or 70 square feet!! That's right, 60-70 square feet. That's barely enough to have a chair and a tv, much less live in.

The real kicker was that the guy who had rented it, was paying a lot for it.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but consider it a heads up, because you may have some sticker shock when it comes to pricing and apartments in paris.

You will be thrilled with what you find. Its a really small web organization...but, HUGE in what it does. You can find all kinds of things from jobs, to people to travel with, to...yes, apartments in paris even.
