Hello! I am an American student who will be moving to Rome for about 5 months to study abroad. Long story short...my housing feel through. So now I need to find an apartment real fast (for January 9th). Since I can't visit before I arrive...I need to find a source or something to help me get a place. I would like to be in Trastevere. Does anyone have any advice or help? I appreciate everything! Thanks!

  3. If you're going to stay for 5 months, don't  rent something "blind". Take a B/B for about a week and during this time get an Italian friend/acquaintance to read Porta Portese (local paper for flats-rooms-elephants & brick a brack).

    A tip for B&B:
