How can I find an someone that is interested in investing in an idea that I want to have patented?

I have several ideas that I would like to have patented.I dont have the funds to secure a patent on my own.I am willing to work out a deal with an interested invester.

  1. Search Tim Ferriss' blog FourHourWorkWeek.com for "inventions" and you'll see a couple of very helpful posts on a famous inventor who does exactly what you're trying to do.  

    You'll probably want to get the $100-ish provisional patent on your own before you start calling places and giving away your idea.


  2. A lot depends on the invention's potential value.

    I suggest you call a few intellectual property attorneys and ask for a half-hour free consultation.

    They should know investors and venture-capitalists.  

    It's a matter of economics.  Million dollar ideas will struggle to get funded or developed.  Billion dollar ideas will attract lots of attention.

    The ultimate solution for smaller projects is something like an internet-based Grameen Bank.
