I had my furniture in storage for 7 years. I would take some out and put some in. This year I decided to take out all of my stuff. As I was moving the furniture out I found out it is damage by water. the furniture is mildew and ugly. I want to know how can I find out the resource on how they advertise the air space, meaning dry, space is reliable, that sort of stuff. I did complain and I did fill out a form for the insurance company. But, but I do not have any receipts for that period when I purchased my furniture. What should I do? I am asking for over $3k for my furniture, kids toys and everything in the storage that was damaged. Please answer all questions. Thank You

  1. If the storage unit is advertised as "dry" you're screwed. If there was no roof leak or water pipe leaks then your unit is considered "dry". If you paid for a controlled enviorment storage ( heat and/ or A/C) you may have a case Good luck.
