How can I find info regarding details of my fathers death/?

I have been trying to find details to my fathers death and pictures of the car crash, but I am having many problems. I have many different search criteria with no luck. Is there a certain place I need to look without having to pay too much for?

What about the insurance company?  Police report?  Don't try for photo's, it could be very painful..............

Start with the executor of his estate, who should be able to point you in the right direction.

You should start in the location where it happened.  The authorities there, will have records and/or be able to point you in the right direction.

Who exactly do you think took pictures?   You won't get any from the police department - that's private information.

You can get a copy of the death certificate for a small fee, from the courthouse in the jurisdiction where he died.  

Other than that, there isn't any "info" to find out.
