I'm Irish. Emigrating to US and i need a list of all vaccines i have gotten from birth. I've been onto our Health Service people. Waited 5 weeks for something to be posted out. When i got it they only had a record of my TB Vaccine and nothing else. I know for a fact i have the polio, 2 in 1and measles, whooping cough but nothing to prove it. I got the polio vaccine in school on a sugar lump and injection. I remember that day well. My mother never had a record book. I called my Gp and was told they passed all my records onto the "HSE" (thats the healthboard I was onto in the beginning). I'm at a loss now as what to do. Maybe an Irish person on here thats been through this?? Any suggestions anyone or am i just gonna end up a human pincushion.

  1. contact the local hospital, they will tell you where to get this information from xx

  2. Try yourelementary school...they may have it on record.  If not, well, just call your self "pincushion."  Good luck on all your immigration papers.

  3. hmm ive never had to do that so i dont know what to tell you,but maybe try going to your local citizens advice bureau..see if they can help with more advice. I mean, how can they not have your health records. The health service is understaffed at the moment, but they should still be able to find your records. Good luck.

  4. you should be able to get your medical records - they will be in your own chart in your local hospital! Everyone is entitled to get there medical records! I worked for the HSE
