How can I find my dad in Hong Kong?

Is there anyone who knows how can I find my dad in Hong Kong? Is there any institution which can help me? He married my mom 36 yrs ago in June 1972 in Indonesia and after they were separated, he never contacts us anymore ever since. I'm sure I have my half brothers and sisters I've never met out there in Hong Kong.. Btw, my dad's name is LiPoo or Lie Kuo Se (sorry for the misspelling)

It's quite hard to find your dad unless you have his name, which you are not sure of . Are there any old documents, letters or even photographs? You could then hire a private investigator in HK to track him down. All the best!

be sure about your dad's name first, ask your mom or find any document you had. check it at hongkong yellowpages or peoplefinder site

First ask your mom if she has any documents about  your father.

Also, one thing disturbs me: you said your dad stopped keeping in touch after your parents divorced. So tell me, did your dad send money to your mother or to you?? Did your mom ever talk about him?

If not, obviously your dad gave up on you and your mother. So why search him in Hong Kong?? Even if you do, then what? Call him dad and see his reaction??
