How can I find my gerbils "potty" area??

i have searched the whole aquarium a million times for there potty place and I just can't find it!!!!!! would they use a potty like hamsters???????

if u really cant find it, its possible that they ate it... yes, rodents eat their poo sometimes... to keep ur gerbil from eating its poo, make sure that u always provide her with enough food, and the occasional tasty treat. that's GOT to taste better than poo.

To find out which corner your gerbil potties in. Is that ur question?

If so....

If you can't find a certain corner then you can try to make one just by a potty pan and put some of the gerbils droppings in it and see if he or she get the hint that is where it's suppost to go when nature calls :)

i would just observe them.  they usually pee in the same corner but they generally do number two everywhere.  they will sometimes eat their droppings.  as gross as it sounds its actually beneficial to them because it puts back essential nutrients in their bodies.  I have personally never used a gerbil/hamster potty so i cant really recommend one or anything but i have heard of gerbils using them.
