How can I find my hamster?

He's a Syrian, but really really small. Do you have any suggestions for how to find him?

You should close doors put some food and water in every room look for holes in stuff and check your pantry. You should look for him first any where dangerous like a heater or near electrical or pointy objects. Other wise just wait for the food and water to disappear then  look around find him and trap him!!

I owned two hamsters and found that if you put your cage on the floor where the hamster may be and put food in it (of course leaving it open), it is very likely to appear, other then Just keep your eyes open.

OMG! if you have central air/heat please look in your furnace! That's where my sons hamster turned up when he was missing and he got hurt real bad.

We have lost one of my hamsters before.  [and we found him :D]

Things you will need:

~A group of people [3 or more]

~A couple flashlights

~A bag of treats and/or your hamsters favorite food.

~Time and Sleep

Place treats around the house, and turn out all the lights, you should do this towards 10pm, that is when your hamster is most active.  Get a couple friends or family members to watch the treats (that is where the flash light comes in)  Only use the flash light every couple min. or if you think you see or hear anything.  

If you see your hamster near a treat try and grab him/her,[i don't know if it is a boy or girl], if you miss and (s)he runs, close the door or keep an eye on him if the room has no doors.  If (s)he  has a critter trail cage then place the cage on the floor with fresh food in the food bowl and hopefull (s)he should come out.  If you don't have that type of cage, place the fresh food bowl on the floor and (s)he should come out.

if he got out in your room. just sit in a chair with a net and wait til he shows up. thats what i do.
