Henry, my Australian tree frog has escaped his terrarium, and is now somewhere in my 1800 sq ft home. I've searched frantically to no avail. Any suggestions on how to get Henry home?

  1. Hi Librarygal, Dustin is right, your froggie will probably be in a wet-ish area. I don't know how they get in there, but in Australia, tree frogs just love toilet cisterns, so make sure you check there. You could also try behind the fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and laundry tub - I'm trying to think like a frog now and those all seem like warm wet places! Don't forget to keep all the doors and windows to outside shut as much as possible, and block up any big drain holes. Good luck finding Henry, I'm sure he'll be fine.

  2. You should try looking for him in wet areas, under furnitures,  plant, or places where frog would usually go. And try to keep the  area closed and secure so that Henry can't get out.

That happened to my hamster once, but I found him scurrying around living room.

  3. i always find my golds on the the walls but u might find him in a bathroom with a great humidity level that should b a place for him so he doesnt dry out

  4. Well it can't be that hard, he is a TREE frog, start looking!
