Question:

How can I find my "NICHE" (did I spell it right?)?

I'm a freshman in high school, and I really want to find a place to fit in. I mean, I've got friends, but I want to be part of a sports team or club. I just want to find something I love, and am somewhat good at. I've done ballet for about 10 years, but the dance school I attend is really killing my spirit with their super harsh teachers. Anyways, something athletic would be fun, but I've never done any other sport (besides ballet, which I consider a sport). So can anyone think of a team or club that welcomes complete beginers? Anything will help!

  1. Yup,

You spelled the word right...I feel that dancing would be your niche...Well, have you considered soccer or football (as they call it, on the other side of the Atlantic)? That is if you can take some of the contact from the sport...It is called the "Beautiful Game" due to the footwork and team effort that every wondrous goal need...

Stick with dancing, probably, harsh teachers are known to build character...

One more thing: "Nothing can make you feel down without your consent..." c",

  2. I think you'll have to find out by trying.  See what some of your friends do and ask them too, which will accommodate complete beginners. This is the time to start something new and you have plenty of choices.  You don't have to stick rigidly with the first one you try - be relaxed about it and try several, with the intention of seeing what suits you best.

And, yes, niche is correctly spelled - usually one finds a niche after a while and not necessarily straight away.
