Question:

How can I find out if I'm registered to vote?

This may sound silly but I'm not sure if I ever registered to vote. I'm 22 now and I think we may have registered in high school, but that could have been something completely different. Is there a simple way to just check if I'm registered?

  1. Check it with the local electorate commission.

  2. It no problem just to go to any government office such as Human Services , or the Sherrifs Office and go ahead and register again.

  3. go to the nearest voting center

  4. The local board of elections should be able to let you know. If you have since moved you should notify them anyway so you know what district to vote in.

  5. It really varies by your location - you can find out but you need to find out how to contact the voter registration for you location - most places let you check by phone

best way to find out who to call is google something like

"am I registered to vote" Virginia

hopefully you'll get a nice page like Virginia has ...

  9. Hi,You can call your city hall and talk to the people who handle registrations. They will tell you what polling location you are in and where the location is, you should vote in.They should send you a voter identification card.It will contain all the information you will need to know about your duty.

  11. Well if your not sure then register again just to make sure.  But if you get mail from the government or political parties that are usually for registered voters....and at this time of year there are a lot of mailers.....if you get them then you probably are but I would either call my local voters registration office or like I said....just do it again to make sure OBAMA 08'

  18. If you haven't signed up you probably aren't, if you have in the past two months or longer then you probably are. If you have applied all you have to do is show an ID when you go to vote.
