How can I find out if a Director of a charter school has to have a teaching certificate?

They don't.

but - they still have to have the charter approved by the district board - and thats where its a problem - I cant see how a charter would be approved without the proper credentials - If the director hired the certificated to do the planning and the organizing and could prove it - then perhaps their charter might be approved.
