The only way is to e-mail them. I found my j.h.s friend deleted her e-mail after I wrote her an e-mail and got those "MAILER- DAEMON"  messages.

If you don't want them to know who you are create another e-mail account and send one from there. f you get the "Mailer-daemon" failure delivery notice- it means the person's account was deleted.

You send them an email though your account and if you get a letter back saying Error this message could not be sent or whatever then that means that it's not active anymore, but if it is active then you won't recieve that message.

im pretty sure if you just send them something and dont get a delivery failure notice then it is probably still in use weather they check it that often is another story

Email them and if you do not get a Failure Daemon email back then it is probably still good.  Good luck!!!
