How can I find out if i'm related to Native American Tribes????????

Question

Ok so, this is a bit of a general question about world genealogy but am I related to every native american tribe and reservation, not by blood neccassarily but by inter-marrige through generations and generations of families? Because one family tree always branches off to another and another and never stops. Are we related to all thew ethnicitys of the world????????

Well, I suppose if you think of it by way of the "6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon" theory, I guess at some point it's probably true.

A saying in the Indian communities is like this, if you are not sure then you are most likely not. There are 500 recognized tribes in the US. However if you would like to investigate this further visit the US. Dept of the Interior's page on tracing American Indian Ancestry.

Even if you find you are not of American Indian ancestry you will be far wiser than most in just knowing this information.
