How can I find out if there is a phoneline connected to a property I am going to move into

I am moving into a flat and I need to get online asap, how can I find out if the flat is connected to the phonelines before I move in

Just look around for phone sockets, or if you need online asap why dont you go with virgin media.

wild stab in the dark here, but couldn't you ask the person you will be renting from ?????

I wouldn't think a working line would be connected upon moving in.

You could look for sockets or the brown Virgin Media connection box that is usually outside a property that's connected to Virgin & that would give a indication that it's availiable.

Just call the Telco and place an order for service!!
