Question:

How can I find out my account number for Natwest?

I recently opened a Natwest Adapt account, They sent me the forms that I had filled in on the internet, I think my account number was on there. I posted the forms back to Natwest as requested and now my card has arrived. For security, I now need to tell them my account number, and I posted it to them, is there any other way I can find it?

  1. Hi when you went on to the internet did you not need to set up a password or somthing and create an account if you did then you might have to sign in online and get your account number that way if it tells you. If not I would just ring up natwest and find out how you can activate your card when you dont have your account number etc.

Normally your account number is on you statement but you wont have one of these yet.

  2. should be on the bottom of your card

  3. Your account number is usually on your card (the row of 6-9 numbers labelled a/c number, in the centre of the bottom row on most cards but may vary between issuers).

If you still can't find it, call NatWest and explain your situation. You will probably be asked a set of other security questions which will help to identify you, such as date of birth and postcode.

  4. Do you have a cheque book as it will be in there? If not you will have to call them and probably answer some security questions and then they may be able to give it to you

  5. on a natwest card all you have is your sort code. Did you get a check book with your card? if so it should be in there. The only solution i can think of is go to your local natwest bank with your new card and maybe a form of I.D and ask . Hope that helps.
