How can I find out the slot type of my wireless card? I'm using a

Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter.

I'm buying a new laptop wireless card, because i'm having problems with this one. Does anyone know how to find out what slot type this wireless card is? or, is anyone (100%) sure they know what it uses?

Thanks.

  1. The slot type for this card is USB. Since it's a USB adapter, just buy another one that uses USB. Most laptops also have a PCMCIA, or PC Card, slot, so if you don't want a USB adapter you can get one of those. Newer laptops (2007+) have ExpressCard instead of PCMCIA.
