How can I find out where Amtrac routes are?

I live in Washington, IL and I was wanting to take a trip/sightseeing with my two teenagers. We wanted to take the train but didn't know where to go. So I am hoping that you can suggest some interesting places for me and my teenagers.

They have a website.  But you're spelling it wrong.  Probably why you can't find it.

I hate to break the news to "DENIEPL" but the Empire Builder don't go to Portland. It goes from Chicago to Seattle then you have to transfer to the ""Coast Starlight" and go south to Portland.

take the empire builder to portland ore. and then jump on the train down to los angeles and then take the sunset limited to san antonio and then jump on the texas eagle back to ill.  You can do all this from leaving chicago and returnign to chicago.

Beautiful trip through montana and the southwest .
