How can I find out where auctions are held in Britain?

I'm looking more for antique, books etc auctions. Have looked in local papers but unable to find anything???

Depending on the subject matter you are looking for you could ring Sotheby's and other auctioneers to find out when specialist book auctions are happening.

Many of the London bookshops are specialist dealers in old and antiquarian books. E-bay is another source if you know what you want.

Try amazon.co.uk... I have no idea where they are held but you can buy antiques online..
