  1. get OpenOffice for free: http://www.openoffice.org/

    it evens MIMICs ms office

    it works better, too

  2. here are a few tips.

    1. you can find which ones are installed by either clicking the "start" menu, and going to "all programs" if using Windows XP, and look for anything that says Microsoft Office, Office, Corel, OpenOffice. Just have a browse through the start menu programs.

    2. if you open "Control Panel" -> "Add/Remove Programs", it will generate a list of all installed programs.

    3. you can open "My Computer" -> "C" -> "Program Files" -> and look for any folders Office or Microsoft Office related.

If you need to download an office suite, you can find an excellent free office suite called OpenOffice, that is fully compatible with Microsoft Office and all other major office programs.  look for the link in the sources,

    Good Luck!

  3. if you are looking for a simple, free, but complete office suite.

I'd suggest looking at open office.

To answer your question. go to c:\program files

look for a subfolder called microsoft office, or something like that. It will be contained there.

If you don't have one, use the above link.

If you require tech support, star office (like open office, but with fonts, clipart and tech support) is really cheap to buy a single seat license.
