I've tried contacting officials before regarding bills but they always refer me to someone else. How do I find the right person the first time? Thank you so much!

  1. If you want to find out who votes on bill then check the following:

          a. House Journal, daily calendar, schedule of what went

on in the House of Representatives for that day. It is on

line, just use the yahoo search engine and type in

              House of representatives, Journal

          b. The same is true for the Senate just type in Senate

              Journal on yahoo.

          c. You may try the Congressional Record, daily

procedings for Congress. same procedure, yahoo.

BE AWARE. That if a vote in Congress takes place by voice or standing vote there is no official record of how a member votes. There is only a record kept on Record Votes, also called roll call votes. I would think that your Congressman or Senator's DC office would be aware of how your representative voted so tr there. If all else fails contact the local paper and see if they can help.

                               Hope that helps.
