Question:

How can I find reviews of foreign travel agencies (Gray Line Tours El Salvador)?

We're thinking about traveling to El Salvador using Gray LIne Tours. Is there a way to verify the company's history? ...a sort of Better Business Bureau for international travel?

I don't want to ruin our trip by booking with an agency that won't deliver!

Their website: http://www.graylineelsalvador.com/

Thanks in advance!

  1. wow, pretty cool that you have chosen el salvador.  i have been there about 10 times (mostly in the north)

greyline tours is a well known company we have then in seattle.  in fact "greyline of alaska is associated with holland america cruise line.

i was unaware that they had some tour in el salvador.

el salvador perhaps has the least amount of tourist infrastructure of any country in central america.

the beaches are not spectacular..they are nice...but most notably have lots of surfers going there.

the mayan ruins have not been developed due to lack of money, but can be interesting...especially the joyas de ceren...but again, lack of money has hindered it's development.

you might see some petroglyphs, there are many (lenca indians), but very few of them are on any tourist track.  locals know where they are tho.

in the north is where much of the history is with the war.  lots of interesting stories and beautiful mountains so see.....and the town of la palma where all the arts and crafts are.

    !!enjoy the pupusas!!
