How can I find small acting gigs in my area? Can I look in the Sunday paper?

I am 16 years old and I live in orlando, fl. Can I find these small adting gigs in the newspaper? If not, where do I look? I dont have an agent and I dont plan on having one till i move to L.A. next year

yeah, your paper will have local community theater and maybe even film auditions.  look on craigslist under "gigs", thats a good source.  also look up the website for florida's film commission, they usually list casting calls.  i dont know too much else about the orlando audition scene so google orlando auditions to see what surfaces.
