How can I find the bill Obama did not pass in Illinois?

that would have stopped the killing of babies already born (not abortion or partial birth abortion). He voted NOT to stop the IL hospital from disposing babies already BORN!

Don't assume you understand the vote until you understand the wording of the bill and Obama's reasons for voting against it.  He made it very clear that the reason he did so was because he didn't feel it was constitutional.  I don't know about you, but I don't want to see our representatives wasting time debating and voting on bills that a court will later strike down.

Happy hunting, he refused to pass it on constitutional grounds.

Writing a law that doesn't allow for abortion to save the life of the mother has been determined to be unconstitutional.

Viable babies, born at term are not the focus of that bill.  You won't find anything about that.

Babies born before their lungs are ready to breathe air can't live once born.
