How can I find the right type of job?

I am a voluntary psychology consultant, but I currently do not have any work to do, within my local area. I have tryed numerous agencies, but have not had any success recently. Does anyone have any good ideas, to resolve this issue?

  1. Okay first thing people need to realise is that when they cannot find paid work, they can go for voluntary - this does in fact BOOST up their experience etc - employers like willingness not just for the money but the ability to go and work (paid or not).  If they see you got for example some voluntary work in  psychology they may take you on.

    Also some are not employd because they may not have the right skills. Employers dont say everything.  

    In the mean time if you realy cant find paid work -go for voluntary and carry on looking for paid whilst you do that - youll feel good about it too. Searching AND asking helps both.
