  1. The slope is undefined.

    The two points given are the origin (0,0) and the y-intercept (0,3).

    If this is a straight line, then it is a vertical line, which is undefined.

  2. If the line is at points (0,3) and (0,0) then the slope would be 0. It would be a vertical line going down the y axis.

  3. the equation of slop is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

    the two point is (0,0) and (0,3)

    so the slop is ( 3-0 )/ (0-0)

    which is undefined

  4. Well it looks like a vertical line, if it passes through the origin and the y-axis at three as well.  The slope would be:

    m = Rise / Run

    m = Infinity / 0

    m = Undefined

  5. The slope is unidentified.

    SOLUTION.

    x=0

    y=3

    Vertex is (0,3)

    When you plot the points given you will have a vertical line.

    In finding the slope:

    A vertical line means unidentified.

    A horizontal line means zero.
