How can I find the value of old Letters?

I have some letters dated 1881 & 1882 sent to one of my Grandmothers, they are in the enevolpes & still have the stamps on them. They are from a friend of hers and they were mailed in Missouri. thanks for any help you can give me.

You could look on ebay to see what something like that is going for...I just looked and random letters from unknown people range from $1 to $15.

Honestly though, if they are not letters about something significant in history, they probably are not worth all that much. They are very old, this is true...but they are just letters from one friend to another.

They sound like something you shopuld keep to hand down to the generations after so they can know a little more about your grandmother. :)
