Question:

How can I find women who will allow me to father a child with them, and then allow me to keep the child?

I've been thinking about this for many years. I want to have a child, and I've been with my partner for 11 years now. I'd like to find women who would allow themselves to be impregnated with my sperm, carry the child full-term, then at the end of the pregnancy to allow me full rights to raise and care for the child. It sounds like I'm looking for a baby factory, and I don't mean for it to sound so impersonal. I don't have any female friends who would like to "help me out" so I wonder how I'd go about having a biological child in this way. I've looked at adoption, but they are pretty much impossible for a man to do when he's in a homosexual relationship. I'm open to suggestions or ideas here that aren't rude. I'm in a happy, monogamous relationship, so there'd be no intercourse. More like the turkey baster method or IVF.

  1. firstly, i had no idea it's so hard for a male homosexual couple to adopt. i'm sorry. my husband and i are planning on adoption, and i think it's just horrible that you don't have this option.

what your looking for is a "surrogate" mother. this is actually all on the legal up and up and happens to be VERY expensive- you are going to want a lawyer, just so she can't jump out of the commitment at the last moment. i'd advertise in the newspaper, or look online.

    good luck!

  2. NOT A 'BIG' PROBLEM!

All you need to do is find a girl/woman who would agree/willing  to being a 'Surrogate' mother, it's LEGITIMATE!

It happens with 'Straight' couples, too!

You most likely can get help from any 'Neighborhood Clinics, Abortion clinics etc. (Finding someone 'desireable' is the HARDEST)

YOU MUST make it a 'Contract' deal. Taking care of the Mother 'during' Pregnancy $$, pay all Hospital bills & care up to  the Birth. There would also be a CASH amount set on her doing this!

    GOOD LUCK....it CAN Happen!

  3. if you are willing to adopt an older child, you can become an foster parent, i see homosexuals adopting that way all the time. if you want an infant, you can go to your local agency, and apply for an open adoption. there are plenty of pregnant teens who are looking for a loving and happy couple for their child to be raised by. since you don't have female friends who are willing to carry your baby, you can always buy eggs and have a surragant mother carry your baby with the fertilized egg, but im pretty sure that is VERY expensive. good luck!!!!

  4. There are programs where women carry children for couples who can't, but they aren't biologically related.  In your situation you would probably need donated eggs, which they also have.  It cuts down on any chance that she may change her mind and decide she wants to play a large part in the upbringing, if it was half hers she'd have a good arguement even if there were contracts signed.  The other route you might try is some private adoption arranged with a parent who wants to know who their baby's going to.  There are many women who'd be happy knowing their child was going to a commited couple than a "family" that adopts for the attention or money involved.  Keep researching your options and best of luck.

  5. Find a surrogate mother. You'll have to spend a lot of money and get EVERYTHING done through a lawyer, but you could probably find a surrogate.

  6. Ad in the paper.

    Fertility clinic, baby doctor.

    g*y/L*****n magazines.

    Unitarian Church web site.

I personallycan't imagine giving a baby up that I carried for 9 months, that was half me, and my family's heritage, but if the price were right, I am positive you could find a "womb for rent."

    Good luck.

  7. You would need to advertise in some national newspapers or magazines.  I'm guessing that you'd have more luck with a L*****n woman, who would likely be more sympathetic to your situation.  You could also try colleges.

  8. If you're in a homosexual relationship you should not be having kids period.

  9. wow, thats a tough one... this may sound weird, but maybe put an ad in the paper saying youre looking for a surrogent mother, or maybe look online and try to find one. not sure, but it might be worth a try..

  10. If you find someone who is willing to do this, make sure you sit down with a lawyer first. It's unlikely that you will find a woman who will go through nine months of pregnancy and then give up all rights to the child. The risks are great, and there is no benefit for the woman.

Look into foster care, it's a much better option. And g*y men adopt all of the time, try finding a support group for g*y men trying to adpot, maybe they can point you in the right direction.
