Just be friendly like most Aussies and you'll find that they will like you.

Depends where you're from, but it shouldn't be too hard, we're not that different from any other country

Never ever complain or compare Aussie things to things you miss or the way things are "back home" and you should be cool.  Oh yeah, be friendly too.

As already said. BE YOURSELF. Don't try to be "Aussie"  and put on a false accent or say "gidday" to every one you meet. You DON'T have to be loud and get drunk and like football to be an Aussie.

Show respect to others and go with the flow. WE aussies don't care where you are from (except for the occasional dipsticks racist you might come across from time to time - but these aren't worth you energy) - just as long as you treat us the way YOU want to be treated then you will be fine.

Be yourself; we are not that different to any other nation :)

Just make sure you like beer, enjoy outdoor BBQs and like your sport (football, soccer, anything!) and you should fit right in with us!
