I'm a gamer. I have....

AMD Anthlon 64 X 2 core duo

Nvidia SLI ready

2GB of RAM

8800GTX 1GB memory on it.

Quite a long story...Here goes.

Had this computer, for good amount of time.

Games like Counter strike and Half life 2 played fine on it.

Installed New Heatsink from Xigmatek...pretty sure nothing wrong there

Never had problems with Steam powered games before (Counter strike, Half life 2, etc....)

Got the New utorrent (1.8) Started getting BSOD (blue screen of death).

Uninstalled Utorrent BSOD was not fixed....

Checked RAM...all is well (making sure one isn't faulty)

Checked Drivers. All is well.

Checked Temp, all is well.

Power supply smelling a bit, may need New one.

When I stop the display for BSOD, I get a different code everytime. Therefore Multiple errors.

Using Memtest86 soon to fully check RAM.

ONLY happens when playing games.

Everything else runs fine...Until I open game.

Thinking I need new power supply?

Also when I put on new heatsink. Got some thermal grease on the Processor...hopefully that isn't a problem.

Small to Medium strange smell from Power supply fan, potential burning.

Checked for and cleaned any critical viruses.

Checked and Fixed Registry files.

Might go into BIOS to disable Caching, Shadowing (in memory)...Still trying to figure that one out.

one full stop code is.

STOP: 0x00000050 (0x8001640F , 0x00000008, 0x8001640F) 0x000000005
