How can I fix a RAID 5 array?

I have a four drive RAID-5 array and the controller is reporting two drives have failed. I'm sure the drives themselves are fine, so how can I create images of each of the drives?

  1. You cannot take an image of separate drives in an array - if you are sure that the drives are ok - replace the raid controller with one of like and it will all work. You might be able you fix it with server magic ( supports raid arrays) but I doubt it - last time I seen this the drives had to be sent away to third party for data revovery

    PS not got a recent tape backup?
