How can I fix my GE Spectra Profile Performance oven ... it keeps beeping and displaying F1?

This is very annoying. We press Clear/Off to stop it, but it keeps happening.

I believe the F1 fault code is related to the electronic control board. There is a thermistor on the board and if it is defective, you will get that fault code. The only way to fix it is to replace the board. I would check your manual to see if it is still under warranty since some manufacturers give up to 5 years on electronics.
